We need to email C/Powell a new yes/no on the Andrew's AFB visit based on the new trip information.
"Cadets, we have one last chance to sign up for the 3 day trip to
Andrews AFB in Washington DC. There have been developments in the
travel plans which should entice
more of you to participate. First, the Detachment is going to pay for
transportation, lodging and food, as long the food is purchased on
base. The only expense coming from the cadets will be off base food.
15-20 dollars should suffice for the entire trip. Second, we will
depart from the detachment around 1630 on Thursday the 26th of March,
unless we have too many class conflicts, at which we may decide to
leave later. By this time most of your classes should be over. The
tour and other activities will take place as previously planned on the
27th of March. The tour may as well include the Presidential Airlift
Squadron. Should you have class conflicts on this day, Major
Marchesini is prepared to provide absentee excuse letters to any cadet
who wants to give one to their professor(s). We will leave the D.C.
area on Saturday morning and return to the Det.
Reply directly to bnjmnpwll@gmail.com. In your response to this email,
indicate whether you will be attending the event or not. If the
response in 'no', provide a quick description or why you cannot
attend. This will help us plan more efficiently in the future. As
always my phone is always on, so give me a call if you have any
questions."
